Yes, Sea Foam Spray and Sea Foam Motor Treatment are both safe and effective in your F150 EcoBoost.

Here’s a quick overview of what you could do with different Sea Foam products:

  • Sea Foam Spray through the intake. Here’s a video with the EcoBoost and Sea Foam Spray. More instructions can be found here. [note for others – Sea Foam Spray is for gasoline engines only. Not for diesel.]
  • Sea Foam Motor Treatment in your gas tank. Wait until you’ve got a low tank (1/8 or less). Then add a full can of Sea Foam, and drive until almost empty before refueling. That will do a great job cleaning up the fuel system and critical engine areas.
  • Sea Foam Motor Treatment in oil. Add 1 oz per quart of oil 100-300 miles before your next oil change.
  • Trans Tune in the transmission fluid. More info here.
