Thanks for the question, Kenneth. No, Sea Foam Motor Treatment will not restore the fuel. Once gasoline is degraded, a fuel additive isn’t able to bring it back.
Here are a few ideas:
Sea Foam is great for generators, especially if they’ve been run with old fuel. Add 2 ounces of Sea Foam per gallon of fuel. Once in a while, add 8 oz of Sea Foam to half a gallon of fuel and run it through to give it a good cleaning. The Sea Foam will clean out residues and buildup in the fuel system and carb passageways.
Sea Foam is great to add to fresh gasoline that will be stored for a while. Add at least 1 ounce per gallon of fuel.
You can gradually use up the old fuel in a car or truck if you mix it with fresh gasoline.
