Will it hurt to let Sea Foam sit in an engine? [SOLVED]

I have a 2007 Honda Civic that had been parked for 2 years. We got it started and added Sea Foam, but now the car is dead and won’t do anything. Will the Sea Foam hurt the engine if it just sits in there for a week?

Hi Sharon – Sea Foam will be completely safe to leave in the gas tank and/or oil crankcase. You can leave it in there as long as needed. In fact, Sea Foam will help stabilize fuel while the vehicle is sitting, preventing the fuel from breaking down and forming varnish.

Hope that helps and best wishes for the Civic!
