When should I add Sea Foam to a generator? [SOLVED]
Asked by Mike R. In Florida
I never had a generator before and was wondering do I add Sea Foam Motor Treatment now at the beginning of the season (it is an 8 gallon tank), or wait for when it might not be used much? I live in Florida. What is the amount to use for that tank?
I’d add Sea Foam to every tank of fuel. Add 2 oz of Sea Foam per gallon of fuel in the tank. That will prevent any residue and varnish from forming when the generator sits, which will keep it running well for when you need it.
