Using older cans of Sea Foam for outboards [SOLVED]

Asked by Vic M. In Manitoba,

I have 2-3 cans of Sea Foam that are 3-4 years old. Is it OK to use them in gas or oil in my 4 strokes?
The outboards are a Mercury 2007 275hp Verado, a 2007 9.8 hp Bigfoot, and a Yamaha 2003 90hp.

Hi Vic. Older cans of Sea Foam are fine to use as long as the caps are secure and the fluid is clear. If sealed will last several decades!
