Sea Foam in scooter oil and gas [SOLVED]

Can I add Sea Foam to my scooter engine and if so, how long do I leave it in there?

Thanks,

James

Yes, you can absolutely add Sea Foam Motor Treatment to your scooter’s fuel and oil.

For oil, add 1 ounce per quart of oil. We recommend adding it a while before you change your oil (100-300 miles for cars and trucks, though you could shorten that for a scooter that doesn’t get driven as much). That way, the Sea Foam has time to circulate and clean, and all the reliquefied residues/deposits can be drained away with the old oil.

For fuel, add at least 1 ounce per gallon of fuel for routine maintenance. For cleaning, add 2+ ounces per gallon of fuel.

Here’s what I’d recommend: wait until you have a low tank of fuel (a gallon or two) and add a full can of Sea Foam Motor Treatment. Drive until almost empty before adding fresh fuel. That creates a high cleaning concentration and it’s a great way to get the most out of a can of Sea Foam.

Hope that helps and let us know if there’s anything else!

Can you add oil additive to a 50cc scooter without hurting the engine? Does the oil additive help? Thanks James.
