Sea Foam in a 2013 Victory motorcycle with a sticky lifter [SOLVED]

I have a 2013 Victory motorcycle with 51,xxx miles. Just changed the oil (20W-40 semi synthetic) and heard a sticking lifter for about 10 seconds on startup. Oil change interval for me is 3,000 miles (Victory interval is 5,000 miles). Can I add some Sea Foam to the new oil and run it for 2900 miles before changing? I see your 100-300 mile rule mentioned quite often, so I’m wondering about a fresh oil change.

Hi Paul.  Though we recommend adding Sea Foam 100 to 300 miles before each oil change, you can add any time during the interval to help clean lifters.  No worries to add Sea Foam to brand new oil! Lifter noise will typically fade away within one or two intervals, sometimes right away after adding Sea Foam. Hope this helps!
