Running an engine and adding Sea Foam to oil [SOLVED]

Is it best to have the engine running when adding to the crankcase to ensure a better mix? Lexus SC 430.. 4.3 L 3UZ-FE V8.. 200,000 miles on engine.

Hi Cameron – thanks for the question! No need to have the engine running when you add it to oil. As soon as you start driving the vehicle the treated oil will circulate through the system.
