Hi Dave – Sea Foam is safe and effective in any kind of engine, and the amounts are the same as well. Here’s what we recommend:
In fuel, add at least 1 ounce of Sea Foam Motor Treatment per gallon. However, the more you add to fuel, the better and faster it cleans. I like to add a full can (16 oz) to a low tank of fuel (2-4 gallons) and drive it until almost empty before refueling. It’s a great way to use a can of Sea Foam. Sea Foam is made with 100% safe petroleum cleaning and lubricating ingredients, so it’s safe to add at that concentration.
In oil, add 1 ounce per quart of oil 100-300 miles before your next oil change.
