How much Sea Foam in a golf cart [SOLVED]

I want to put Sea Foam Motor Treatment into the gas tank of my golf cart. Is that ok? How much should I add per liter of fuel? Will it also help my carburetor?

Hi Myrna,

Thanks for the question. Sea Foam Motor Treatment works very well in the fuel of a golf cart. It will clean fuel residues and varnish from critical engine areas and the entire fuel system. Sea Foam does a great job cleaning carburetor jets and fuel passageways, so it will help your carburetor.

A nice thing about Sea Foam is that you can safely add a full can to a low amount of fuel. You don’t have to worry about measuring it precisely or adding too much.

Supposing that most golf carts have a 5-6 gallon gas tank (roughly 20-25 litres), I’d simply add a full can of Sea Foam Motor Treatment and then drive it until almost empty before refueling. For extra cleaning power, wait until you’re at 1/4-1/2 tank of fuel before adding the Sea Foam. The high concentration does a great job cleaning.

Hope that helps!
