Hi Steven. Whether you’re adding Sea Foam to fuel or oil, it’s something you want to do regularly to keep things clean. Similar to washing your car, it wont’ stay cleaner forever. For car and truck fuel we recommend adding a can to a low tank of fuel every 2 or 3 months. In oil, half a can (most 5 and 6 quart oil systems) every interval. Hope this helps!
