If the crank case already has 5 quarts of oil and your supposed to add 1 oz per quart of oil, wont this mean you will have exceed the capacity for the crank case? Are you supposed to reduce the amount of oil so you don’t exceed the crank case capacity? Instructions aren’t clear on that point.

Your crankcase has plenty of capacity for 5 “extra” ounces of Sea Foam. No need to drain 5 oz of oil before adding Sea Foam.
