Does Sea Foam prevent bacteria growth in a diesel motor coach? [SOLVED]
Asked by Richard B. In Alabama
Does Sea Foam Motor Treatment help in preventing slime and bacteria growth? I have a motorcoach with a 150 gallon tank. It sits idle during the hot Florida summers.
No, Sea Foam will not help with bacteria that can form in a diesel fuel tank. Biocide additives are typically used to kill or prevent bacteria or algae contamination in diesel fuel systems. Hope this helps!
