Do I need to add more oil to 2-stroke fuel if I use a whole can of Sea Foam? [SOLVED]
Asked by Joe D. In Alabama
I have a 6 HP Mercury 2-stroke outboard that stalls when I increase the throttle. I have seen other comments that say to add a full bottle to the tank when it only has a gallon or two of gasoline. If I do so, do I need to add more oil to make sure the fuel to oil ratio is still correct?

Good question, Joe. No, you do not need to add more oil. Sea Foam Marine PRO is made with petroleum ingredients. It’s safe to add that much.
