Do I have to remove 16 oz of transmission fluid to make room for Trans Tune? [SOLVED]

I just replaced my transmission fluid and would like to add one can of Trans Tune (16 oz) to my transmission and leave it there. Do I have to remove 16 oz of transmission fluid to make room for Trans Tune, or is it safe to just add the 16oz?

Thanks for the question, Dave.

As long as the transmission fluid isn’t overfilled, there’s plenty of room in the fluid reservoir for the 16 oz of Trans Tune.

If you decide to remove some, you can remove 16 oz of transmission fluid with a turkey baster before adding the Trans Tune.
