Adding a whole bottle of Sea Foam Motor Treatment (or High Mileage) to a low tank of fuel is a very effective way to use it. In a car or truck, wait until the tank is low (2-4 gallons) and add a whole can of Sea Foam. Then, drive at least 20 miles before refueling. The high cleaning concentration does a good job cleaning up critical engine areas.
Doing this every 3,000 miles or so is a great way to help keep your engine running clean and prevent fuel-related problems.
For small engines, add 1-2 oz of Sea Foam per gallon of fuel every time you fill up the tank. It’s safe to use a higher concentration to clean a small engine as well.
