Adding Trans Tune to 2007 Silverado [SOLVED]

I have a 2007 Silverado 4.8 liter with 180,000 miles. It’s never had Trans Tune in it before. It does have a hard shift from 1st to 2nd. Is Trans Tune ok to add to my transmission now?

Good question. Yes, you can add Trans Tune to your transmission at any time. It’s safe and effective in your Silverado. If you are planning to change transmission fluid soon, add Trans Tune and drive at least 100 miles before changing. It’s a great pre-flush cleaner.

We always recommend following manufacturer’s recommendations for how frequently to change transmission fluid. You can add Trans Tune once per fluid interval.
