Adding lots of Sea Foam to a two stroke engine [SOLVED]

For two cycle engines your instructions say to use 2 ounces per gallon. For regular four stroke engines your instructions say use 2 ounces per gallon OR you can pour as much as you want into the fuel tank and it won’t harm anything. For two stroke engines must you only use 2 ounces per gallon or can I pour more in to the fuel tank like with the four stroke engines?

Good question, Eric.

Yes, you may add more than 2 ounces per gallon of fuel for a two stroke.

When you want a high cleaning concentration for any type of engine, you can technically add up to a 50/50 mix of Sea Foam Motor Treatment to fuel. Adding a full 16oz can to 1-2 gallons of fuel is plenty for a strong cleaning dose.

If you’re adding Sea Foam to every tank of fuel (vs adding a stronger cleaning dose once in a while), 2 ounces per gallon of fuel is plenty.

Hope that helps!
