Adding a full can of Sea Foam [SOLVED]

I have a 2001 Toyota. Is it better to add it to a full tank or half tank? Should I add the whole 16 oz can?

Hi Donna. That’s one of the best Sea Foam questions you can ask!

You can add to your Toyota at any time. However, adding to low tank of fuel creates a greater cleaning concentration. I like to add an entire can or two of Sea Foam when there’s less than 1/8th a tank, then drive at least 10 to 20 miles to take advantage of the higher concentration before filling up with fuel. That’s one of the best ways to use it! Hope that helps!
