I’d recommend changing the oil. The proper treatment ratio is 1 ounce of Sea Foam per quart of oil in the crankcase. You don’t want to exceed that.
Another option is to drain about half of the oil, and then top it off with fresh oil. If your BMW 535i has roughly a 7 quart oil capacity, that would get you back to the right ratio.
